Company history

Traffic Counsellor Yrjö Förbom founded the Förbom companies in 1929. In its first decades, the company operated scheduled bus services in the Turku region. In 1978, increased funds led to the company adding property rentals to its business portfolio. The transport branch was divested from the company in 1996, and since then Förbom has focused solely on the property business.

The current property companies’ operations are focused on the Turku region, where they hold three functioning properties. The total leasable area is approx. 11,000 square metres.
